Hi
My Freelander is a write-off and I am thinking about buying a Defender (for no particular purpose).

The 90 Station Wagon looks great but I wonder if people find that they regret having bought the smaller one and soon look for the bigger version?

Thanks

I have a 90 and 110 space and 90 better off road in extremes

I'd say go for the 110. Far more useable space in it than the 90, although as mentioned the 90 has a slight advantage in the most extreme off road situations. Realistically though there's not a lot the 110 won't cope with.

Also slightly more comfortable than the 90 due to the longer wheelbase.

Firstly, I'd ask yourself what you want it for.

Secondly, what is your budget.

I followed advice given here two years ago and ended up buying another member's 110 CSW - brilliant.

It would be replacing my Freelander. I don't expect much off roading, Will transport a few bags of poultry supplies sometimes. Low mileage. No long journeys (I have another car for this).

With the 90 SW I could always get a trailer if needed.

A new 110 USW is only 2.5 k£ more then the 90. The 110 would be handy but I am not sure if it is too big. Not seen one in the showroom yet.
