I'm torn between the Atrix which I can get of the INTERNET but have never seen in real life or heard from someone who has actually owned one.

Also I read good reviews on the ARC S, but am dubious from previous experience of SE and it is single core.
I don't like HTC,Iphone and have a maximum budget of £250

I'd avoid sony like the plague, always have problems with their phones

Motorola used to be good and very tough but the RAZR 2 ****ed me off, still got an original RAZR knocking about somewhere though.

All I can say is I'll be getting the new Nokia Windows phone at some point, Nokia phones are built like brick ****houses, dropped mine so many times and its still going strong

I've had an Atrix for the last 6 months and it's very good. The 1st phone I've never had to do a factory re-set on and never managed to tie up in knots. The extra connection dock things are handy - plug it into the tv and use as an internet machine. All works well. Battery life is good once you get teh hang of what's running in the background and what doesn't need to be. Seems pretty solid too, I've dropped it a few times!

Ya do know Apple just stuffed HTC & Android in the courts for breach of copyright, patents violations and reverse engineering Apple touchscreen software.

Seems they is gonna be in the poo for a longtime..

Have you managed to find out if atrix will get android 4.0 update
(ice cream sandwich)

As it looks to be the best choice price and spec wise if it does.

Won't make a bean of difference, there are android unofficial firmwares as well- worth considering as well

Why do people not like SONY phones? I love my Xperia Arc. Doesn't have a front facing camera though.

Samsung are the ones I can't stand.

I had a couple of sony erriccson phones and they were best described as nice idea, but flawed as they suffered hardware failure under warranty several times crashed and would not turn on
(walkman phones)

Had several motorola's that were "cluncky- so I'd like tor try an atrix before buying one.

Having tried several HTC and experienced shocking battery life- I'll give them a miss as they failed to impress so far.

Looked round today and saw a phone for £629-who in there right mind spends that on a phone which isn't pocket friendly and you could by a netbook/tablet or laptop and phone for that price

Still undecided on what to buy:doh: and my blackberry is doing odd things- I suspect application issue.

I'm now considering a cheaper phone and using my netbook as I have yet to be inspired by what was on offer locally.

Well I have an IPhone 4s at the min before that an IPhone 4. But the wife has an HTC Ville both are one as good as the other now the 4s is not slaved to your pc.

Not a Iphone fan, smooth but far too locked down for my tastes-

but I do have an Iphone 4 that is interesting toy to modify firmware on (blocked due to insurance claim)- but becomes unstable.
