Can these be replaced in isolation or does it have to be the full arm? The one I'm getting has failed an MOT on one and I'm trying to work out if I can do it myself. Read Rave about replacing the arms, but having seen the ball joints on eBay, wondered if I can leave the arm in place and just change the ball joint...?

There are 2 lower ball joints on each front upright, the one your link goes to is the one that is bolted up into the upright,no need to remove the arm to replace it,the other comes as one unit including the arm(front one)but neither are expensive ,make sure which one needs replaced before buying the wrong part.

It's a private sale and has a current mot.

Just because it has a current MOT it doesnt necessarily mean it's in a roadworthy condition ;)

Ref britpart, i've had loads of issues with the quality of their parts, used lots in the past. Depends on the part in question and price comparison as to whether i would bother using them again.
