Leaking seals

Does anyone have any tips? My fathers landy (90) has had the rear inner and outer hub seals changed twice but one side just keeps on leaking, all the bits seem to be in good order, it has drums on the rear. Any ideas whats up?

Mine does too. Both 'inny' and 'outy' seal changed two weeks ago and the fooker STILL leaks.

where'd yawl get yer seals from? it might be a dodgy batch

Got mine from Paddocks. One was wrong and dint fit. So had to get one quick from Land Rover Dealer as me hub was in bits in the street outaside Adz's hoose. Fookin robbing bastids charged £15 fer the seal so it better not be that one thass leakin! They were only about £1.30 from Paddicks.

I've fitted two lots of seals and still ****ing out oil, whats the next step?

change the bits the seals rub against?

Aye, your probably right, seems a bit extreme but there are not many options.
