Could always camp near the toilets and borrow a bit of there leccy. The generators were quiet over there too
needed leccie during the night time, not a need, a must have...
but my frequent trips to the loo would have been better than a slow filling of an empty 4 litre milk bottle......
not that I`d ever do that thing
What does the machine need? there must be a way to do the inverter/leisure battery thing.read through each comment till I reached yours pikey,

So, yes, I`m gutted I never made it for a day or the weekend,
yes I must be a numptie, but then I have reason why I never slept in a tent in a field with many others.
I WAS all for it, got excited about going, right until the last few weeks before the event..
Reliability mate....
not the old disco of mine,
but me !!
it began to dawn on me I just cant camp anymore,
my tent, fold down bed & sleeping bag is still all packed ready to go in a holdall, from the last time I used it in 2006 - but, its 2014, and I am 8 years older....nuff said...
If the event is held again, the only way possable for me to attend will be in a caravan, with working mains electrics, and nothing less.
I`m 66 years of age, and "rather unwell"
but here on sunday night reading the fun coming through on peoples comments feelling a little sad by all your happiness, but good for you all, its what you actually went for..
maybe the next time well meet,
in one life or another ....lol

We certainly plan to make this a yearly event, going to try to stick to the same location. Stanford Hall staff were great and they helped us out considerably.
Juliet just doesn't see the point if she can't be comfortable.
