I was having problems with the Ignition Switch on my L322 TD6 (Part No YXB000090) I removed the centre console to gain access and found a part no 6901961 on the bottom part (where the wires go in,) a search on Google showed it to be a BMW part (no surrprise). I purchased a brand new 6901961 part from Autodoc at a cost that was 1/3rd of the price of YXB000090.

Fitted it a couple of days ago and the problem with the switch has been solved

Excellent job, we all know these parts are out there in BMW world but finding the part numbers is the battle. Well done.
Tricky :)

If your in a pickle
heres what iv found along the way,
Heater resistor and steering angle sensor are the same as most bmws of 99-06 era,
Also the seat switches plug in and move the seat if they've stopped working,
Body control unit/zk3 is the same as an e39 and can be programmed to suit the RR
Rear wiper motor is the same as a bmw e46 compact,
I also put an interior out a 2008 in mine, heated rear seats plugged in and worked (my RR was already rear heated)
Window switches work and mirror controls but i can also fold my mirrors at any speed now insted of just under 16mph,
