are the engines from a older freelander different from a 53 reg one?? reason for asking been offered a 53 plate for silly money with a buggered engine, i have an engine from a 99 freelander sitting in my garage with only 39000 miles and wanted to fit this but someone told me the engines are different, i have the ecu and ccu from back of fuse box for the engine so will it work?????
