He nearly did a few times......... but sat him down with cup of tea and a choc chip muffin for a re-think.....:D:D:D.

And then took over with my calm attitude before Matt got the chance to kick the hell out of it, :D:D:D:D:D

Come to think of it most of it has gone/going down the scrapy's anyway, lol

Yup, I've got a jumbo sack of metal from just 2 days worth of cutting. Still got arch and sill on the other side to do

At the end of the day, once it is done it's done. That's the way I'm looking at it now. Won't ever be doing it again lol.

It's just annoying because I haven't got any other wheels after the van broke down permanently

A little bit of an update.... and I do mean a little bit :( Just come in as it is now raining again.

Got rear of the chassis welded in between the showers. You can see bumper brackets have been removed. It was rusting where the hole is drilled into the chassis to mount them on to. Brackets are gone for good  And that can only mean one thing  CUSTOM BUMPER :D :D :D (When everything else is done).

Plan is to get the rear crossmember in next. Then we'll be back to where I should have been before I found this rot

Floor side panels and centre sections after that :blabla:

Got to make up a few new boot cross members and get them into position hopefully tomorrow then get all underneath seam sealed... then once dry, apply paint in copious amounts!!! YEY!

Can then get fuel tank back in and spin it round ready to start on the rear drivers side arch :)

hi mate u did the rear panel was it a complete repair panel from a supplier like britpart or etc or did u bend and make one ?? mine passager side rear arch wheel is completed rusted. I have deceided I am gonna keep mine and repair all rusts with welding or body filler and rub the paint down and do a quick respray but I might take the body off and roll the chassis into my garage and get the chassis galavaized and repair all the rustsof the body etc what u reakon?

looking at your jobs i has my boot floor done and sills done etc but the surround area of the boots floor has rusted now by the arch I didn't know there was a panel for that area mm I might do the same

The panels were all from Land Rover. Britpart do sell them but I got a decent price for Land Rover so snapped them up.

Good luck with the chassis. My new chassis is due delivery on Monday morning in a nice pretty galvanised finish :D

As you will all know, I've now got a galvansied chassis to put onto this disco. It is being changed over this weekend!! :D

Then I'll be able to get back to finishing the other bits on the body and then get all the interior re-fitted - thank god :)

Cleaned up the old shock mount brackets in my huge electric tank, as well as zorst hangers and other little bits and bobs, then got them in primer and a bit of black paint.
