Hi Gents
I thought it would be good if I created a thread detailing the trials and tribulations of owning a discovery 1 from day one.
Vehicle.
Rust wise.
I have a company car for work so the Discovery wont be doing many miles. This allowed me to go for a V8, mainly because ive never had one and fanced it. I decided to stay away from a LPG converted one as im fine wth engines but i dont know anything about lpg and most of the ones in my price range seemed to have running problems, but like i say it wont be doing many miles so can afford the fuel.
Its main job will be towing a caravan and some light off road so i dont really want to go mad on the suspension mods and make it un-usable for towing.
I got home early yesterday so gave it a good clean out and got some rubber floor mats and boot mat for it. The paint work needs a bit of a T-Cut, will get that sorted this weekend if the weather is good. I took some pics with my phone but will start taking them with my camera from now on for a bit better quality.
