I find that it is a happy medium, not as comfirtabal as a range rover but not as tiring as a defender. It fits in well batween the two as for the freelander I recon it was more a try at a baby landy that cost too much a badge exorcise if you will. Having owned or driven everything from a gaylander to a range rover HSE I'm still more than happy with a disco.

ill agree that the 110 csw is the most versatile of the defenders..its probably the only version id consider.. but there are few of them about and they are even more ridiculously priced than a van type 110, compared to a similar age disco the prices are just silly.... at least at the bottom end of the market where im looking,

Yeah but even with a 110csw a Disco ES or other models still have better road manners than the Defender

However that being said I think we can all agree that gaylanders are the faggots car choice :)
you cant refer to our homosexual bretherin as "faggots" any more they are now "sexually challenged" or "gender confused "with poor taste in cars .

also dont forget its worth keeping a freelander about the place cos everyone should have a pet poof to keep the mrs company when youre off doing manly things.

Surprising how many peeps knock the Freelander for being unreliable on the odd ocasion. You Disco peeps seem ta have more faults than any other Land Rover product.

And yes we can keep yer mrs happy if you can't. :p

Yous disco peeps is just as bad as tratters boys. Whenever a Freelander is mentioned, you start talking about blokes wanting relationships wiff other blokes, sex between 2 blokes, or the liking the idea of it. If thats what you want ta talk about in the Disco forum, then thats up ta you lot. But don't included us Freelander owners, as we dun't like talking about gays. Just because you lot like all this ere gay talk, doesn't mean ta say others do. If yer has a problem wiff yer sexuality, or have doubts about yer own sexuality, or thinking about a change to a gay life style, or just bi cuious, then talk amonst yerselvers. Un keep us Freelanders owners out of it. We dun't want ter know about it, or what yer wants ta get up to.

Hence the GBF if i wanted a fight would of said water and doors:behindsofa:
Don't mention doors falling orf on ere. All covered in the sticky fred at the top. Common problem on Disco's it seems. Same fer hgf too. And rust. Looks like we all has problems wiff our Land Rovers.

Reliability is not having your landy burst into flames lol

However don't we buy them because of the grater community in it also for the factor is like having a kit car you start with a car that is ****ed then make it better I have had to do more thinking about a problem and how to solve it more than any other brand.

And freelanders have there problems to. just like all others just they tend to be a bit more catastrophic when they happen Such as the week gear box or IRD

Hmmmm.... and what about our gender confused SISTERn

Two fat hairy blokes slobbery kissing and shagging each other isn't quite the same thing to watch as two pretty ladies playing.

Most men would agree.

But probably not the Gaylander drivers.

all joking aside id still rather see freelanders on the road than some of the pointless bmw and honda 4wd cars ,and land rover have sold bucket loads of them so they must have redeeming qualities .without the freelander market land rover would probably fail to be a viable business in todays profit driven world given the new price of disco and defender which puts them out of most peoples reach whereas freelander is nearly affordable for your average working man,as for discos i bought mine purely to steal bits cos the amount of rust on mine is a **** take.shame cos i bet it was a lovely motor new.
