Intermittent hill descent light

Hi folks, before anyone asks - yes I have searched and read the three amigos tale but this fault relates only to my hill descent light. It came on tonight for the first time for no apparent reason and stayed on for about five minutes - 1 mile.
I restarted the vehicle when I got home and all was well - is this a sign of impending trouble? where should I look first or is it just a gremlin?

Td4 05 auto. Mine started to do the same. Now and then hill descent warning light will come on. When I turn off engine and restart, it goes.

Did you find a cure ?
