How many suitcases will fit in a FL?

Hi,

How many suitcases will fit in a FL? (of typical size) with the rear seats up? I'm going away on holiday in a few months and may need to carry a number of suitcases to the airport. (8 people going + 1 Freelander + probably 1 small car)

Any ideas?

27.659 - Went to a local dealership via Tesco of course coz hey have a 28 day refund policy.

Funny story - whilst in tesco bought some cauliflower coz it looked good, anyway bought 28 cases, well 14 really coz they were in the middle isle and were on a buy one get one free.

Paid for the cases and the cauliflower, put them all in the Discovery, had to fold up seats number 6 & 7 to make them fit, set off once again for the dealership, on passing a local petrol station noticed that they had petrol slightly cheaper than everyone else, popped in filled up.

Eventually got to the dealership, tried the cases and hey presto 27.659

Enjoy your holiday coz I used up a whole day of mine, helping you out and I need to return these damn cases now.

PS - would it not be easier having a trial run.

Due to the curved inner panels you can only get about 4, depending on the sizes of them.

I've got one here that won't fit on it's own.

If he told us if it was raining or dry it would help. With the doors off there would be more room.

My wife says as many as she wants to take will fit... it's just up to you how they go in!

Have just moved daughter's crap from uni to home. Put it all in bin bags, you get a much better packing density, plus you won't get your luggage confused with anyone else's on the luggage carousel.
