help!!!!

Well... U'll never guess, it was only the battery!! I had charged it for 36 hours while I had some work done but it wasn't holding its charge, I replaced the belt thingy, alternator? And now with a brand spankin new battery jobs a gooden, landy works a treat! Thanks everyone, I know wat to look out for in the future! :) xx
 
After puttin a newe battery on, new glo plugs and the selonoid fixed, its now decided it doesn't want to start, it turns over, works with easy start, the key don't turn the engine off now either! Is it the end of its life???????
 
obviously you need to check solenoid feed is live while cranking and turns on/off with ignition ,but is there underlying fuel issue ,too much air thru leak ,blockage etc undo front banjo on pump ,pump fuel see if you have clean airless fuel
