We have issues here of something interfering with the key fobs however usually I can get in my car however this morning I just cant

I dont have the EKA code, Im stuck and need to go out

I tried a generic code I found online, it seemed to work but now there doesnt seem to be an immobiliser at all but when i put the key in the alarm goes off

Did the code work? and I didnt leave it long enough to try getting into the car?

Very very fed up .

there's no way for any "generic code" to work, if you dont introduce the EKA which is saved in the BCU the immobiliser will not be disabled whatsoever, it can be disarmed only with fob but if the roof receiver has failed you'll be able to start the car ONLY after the proper EKA was inserted within 1 minute and only once, every time you turn ignition off you'll need EKA cos the immobiliser will become active again.

dont try all kind of "unoficial" tricks like that "generic code" on a D2 cos you might loose the fobs syncronisation too then even if you fix the fault the fob will not work

If you have on going issues with interference maybe it's worth trying to source a BCU and keys from the States, I think they'll be using 315MHz and not 433.92 as we do (seen everything from ham repeaters to weather stations upset them round here). Not that I'm suggesting you break the law of course but the chances of being caught by Ofcom for using a keyfob on a non approved frequency are about a trillion to one.
