HDC and TC warning lights

hi there

i am new to this forum,landrovers and 4x4 in general but already modding the freelander egr kit and bmwr conversion but i have a problem i cant get my head around

started it today no probs til i hit the brakes then traction control light came on and hill descent light both orange i hit the brakes again then they went off this continued for about 20 mile lights on and off but only when i put a fair bit of pressure on the pedal

does anyone have any ideas

Are your brake lamps working? Could be brake switch.

brake lights ok but since friday it has been ok i have checked brake pads and there is plenty on em so i will see what hapens today
