Hey all. Had my disco about 4 months but she isn't getting used for what I wanted her to (tow car) so sadly gonna be parting company shortly. But before I do I want to sort out a couple of niggles and make her 100% for new owner.

Am after - a second key, car came with two but the spare key got smashed when I stupidly left a bunch of keys attached to padlock on garage and then closed the doors. Dearest key to be replaced had to be the one that went between both doors :( car is a 2004 TD5 Discovery. With the spare getting destroyed I would really like a new one. Where is best place to get one? Will need coding and cutting

Second job is my rear step that folds down is corroded, where is good to find a new one.

Just want the car in perfect order for new owner once I get finger out and get it advertised.

Thanks In Advance

Andy

Ref the key - I would get blank key/fob off ebay, get it cut, then coded. Do you have a Nanocom? Or know anyone local with one? You can code it with that.

The step- Ebay? Personally I would just remove it and be done with it if you're selling, you are spending money unnecessarily IMO.

HTH :)
