just a tip my mate fitted new discs and calipers but trying to save a few quid put his old half worn pads in after 1 trip brake fluid leaking from new caliper piston i think because piston not coming out square onto disc could this be the reason

ps on the new disc only shinny on top and bottom not full area we fitted another new caliper ( luckily he got it replaced under warranty) fitted new pads now wear is even all over disc hope now its cured or what do you think lads

So did he purchase the cheapest caliper on the flee bay then ? There are some rubbish parts out there.

Seen it done a few times, never seen it cause a caliper to leak though.

no he got them from a company that our local land rover dealer uses Town and Country Land Rovers suprisingly
