Freelander TD4 3door problems

Just bought a 2001 3 door TD4 freelander with a couple of problems I could do with help with,
1st The central locking is a bit iffy the system will lock but it won't unlock the passenger door on the second press of the remote
2nd The rear door numberplate light/handle has come loose needs tightened up.

1) passenger lock assembley has failed (solenoid). fit a new unit, budget for £75 from a dealer plus an hour to fit
2) remove inner trim from tailgate and tighten up the fixing screws. be careful as sometimes the studs pull out of the plastic of the handle. if so, araldite them back in place. 5 screws along bottom of rear tailgate trim then PULL and it should pop off.
