Hello everyone, I have a fl1 td4 with 270k km an egr bypass

Here the story :
Been on a trip in Spain and once in the middle of nowhere my coolant pipe leaked all the coolant… so I fixed it by collating the hole and outer water instead to get back home about 500km. Don’t know if révélant of the problem

When get home flushed the water and putted coolant fluid instead.

I encountered some issues with my engine light after that.
Once passed 90kmh the engine light came and for no reason some days after came off. Came again when I was at 60kmh on a little hill. After turned off and now turned on back 😂
I felt a slight loss of power.

Today I cleaned all the air pipes and there was a bit of oil on the turbo pipes, cleaned it and also cleaned the sensor that goes on the pipe (I guess it’s the maf sensor) when cleaning I noticed that one of the cables seemed to be very weak as it was kind of ripped a bit, drove for about 5min and when accelerating about 70 80 kmh I felt kind of really slight loss of power and engine light came again eyes ahah

Also is not the first time I have these symptoms and engine light, this winter happened one time I cleaned all and the supposed maf sensor and came back normal with engine light off

Sorry if my English is not perfect I’m French 😬

Any help would be appreciated thank you !

.. that is likely to be an air-intake-temp.-sensor ..
the maf sensor be at the back .. just behind the oil filler cap ..

..
as for the engine light ..
best to get fault codes read first ..
as it could easily be a fuel circuit problem ..
going by the symptoms described.
[ maf issues unlikely to turn engine light 'on' ]

check 'n clean the fuel rail pressure sensor plug .. for a start.

Okay thank you I will check it as soon as possible, I also noticed bit of black smoke so I think it’s related with fuel also
Now the engine light was disabled and only turned when accelerating hard

'black smoke' on a td4/m47 is often caused by a split or hole in the intercooler hose.
check the hose that can rub against the securing bolts air-intake plastic housing
[ top left as you stand facing the engine ] ..
in the pic posted above .. it be where you can see an extra layer of hose,
secured with white cable ties ..one of those bolts mentioned is under that.

the dash light might be related to the m.a.p. sensor ,
telling you there's not enough turbo boost ..
[ speculation, as i'm not sure if that would illuminate the engine warning light ]

really best to get fault codes read.
if not .. you could be chasing parts ..

e.g. it could be the m.a.p. sensor itself ..
as they tend to get gunked up by the little bit of oil from the turbo [normal]
plus the hot exhaust gas entering via the egr valve
[ if you've not done so .. get rid of the egr unit and fit an 'egr-delete' unit ]

just adding ..
you can see what a mess the EGR makes of the intake manifold,
and the m.a.p. [turbo pressure readout] sensor .. here :
