So after a considerable amount of time trying all sorts of fillers etc I’m hoping this time it may work , All other fillers have just cracked etc

Was wondering if I may pick ur brains please and see what u think , bought some material from here kindly suggested ,

https://www.efoam.co.uk/zotefoam-plastazote.php

Now have 2 x lots of plastic filler , plus a hot glue gun

This is my plan , Have drilled 3 x holes to insert the larger ends of the cable ties into the holes of the A bar will then use the hot glue gun to secure them , once the glue has set will drill 3 x holes into the piece of foam I purchased from the above link , will then thread the cable ties through the foam holes, then sliding some plastic washer on the end to give me a larger securing area , then sliding some cable ties over the ends to push and secure the washers against the loose foam part

Cut the cable tie excess off, then put a small amount of hot glue on the ends

Leave for a day, then mix up the plastic filler and fill the gaps etc , leave to harden then sand , the foam I got is the closest match that I could find , plus with it being larger I’ll then be able to slowly sand it down

Apologises it’s so long winded , what do u think of the cable tie and washer idea please , or do u think I shouldn’t bother and buy some expanding foam, , it’s use like a nut bolt and washer but using a cable tie instead

At the end of the day I want to spray the entire A bar with black textured Matt paint or maybe wrap it, however don’t know how tough it would be to do that as seen some nice carbon fibre sheets

As always many thanks

I would try EVA modelling foam filler first. It’s a clay type filler used in cosplay armour and crafting.
Then again I’m awesome.
