I have the Three Amigo's and it has been diagnosed as being the brake shuttle valve.

My question is this: When I get the part changed, will the ECU recognize that there is no longer a fault and automatically cancel the dash lights or will I need to get it cleared manually?

Ta :D

normally it goes off on its own on cars, but on discos that i have done i've always had to clear them. must be something to do with hill decent.

Unfortunately for u this fault is coming from the ABS modulator......not easy or could be quite expensive to repair......anyway u'll need to clear the logged code with tester.

Picked up the part for around £40 and local mechanic reckons an hour or two to fit so not too bad. Just galls me that I'm going to have to pay the LR dealer around £60 after that just to press a button
