egr removal ??

hi ive removed my egr valve and blanked it, new pipe and plate, but the little air hose that come off it into that little box thing behind my airbox and gos off into the brake servo pipe,? can all these be removed and at the brake servo can i just cap it, as ive been told i can, then i was told i cant ?? thanks

Just cap it.

I just stuck a golf tee into mine to cap it.
