Just thought I would show the aftermath when this lovely young lady pulled out in front of me when I was doing 50mph. Um did I have time to stop, did I bollocks!!!

I take it you and the lovely young lady exchanged phone numbers !!!!

I was coming back from work when her side had slowed right down due to a tractor, she couldnt be arsed to wait, and didnt look on my side, I ended up doing a 180 luckly I didnt hit anyone on the otherside. She ended up going down a ditch.
Ended up being me who dragged her sorry arse out the motor and lending her my jacket.

think she might have shat herself too.

Ouch!! that looks bad, as long as no one was hurt thats the main thing.

Hope you sort out a replacement Disco soon.

Just replaced the sills, and bloody front prop. always happens to me.

looks like the rav4 came off a bit worse!!!

Did poo come out? That looks painful Did your disco have airbags?

Been all over Stealbay, Autotrader. nothing got my eye just yet, even they are all good looking at the mo lol, No airbags but at least I know my seat belts work!! smacked my knee on the colum though, nice little bruise.

Worst bit was when the coppers tried to push her out the way with a samori sword in the back, lol try explaining that one.

Keep photos of your knee and any pain get it looked at. Too late a month down the line.

Claim off her insurance get pay out then buy it back and fix it and change to cat d.and build it back up with bits off eBay.

Worth it for the effort. Keep an eye out and get a cheap, not bent one and tart it up surely

my neighbour is selling a nice 300tdi, never been welded and doesnt need it, new engine at 90000 with reciept, he wants £1500 for it

If it is her insurance, they can not write your car off, only your insurrers can do that. If you insist on keeping the car they have to repair it no matter what the cost. Even if you dont want it back it will be a great lever when coming to a figure for settlement, or keeping the car for spares.
The car still belongs to you untill you have given up ownership of it. I hope you have courtesy car like for like in the meentime.
I had a merc i did some suspention damage too after spinning and hitting a kerb in the ice some years ago, no damage to pannels etc, when it finnaly arrived 10 days later at merc it was to be written off as it had severe front end damage, luckily i had pics of it on the recovery wagon (rac contractor) clearly showing no damage what so ever they (rac) admitted liability eventually. I demanded the car be fixed at a cost exceeding what id payed for it. This took over 6 months i had a courtesy car the whole time.
