disco fuel

hi All, just done a quick search and not come up with anything. i have a 300 disco and just done the head. It was a bit of a pig to start first time but then ran fine once the air was clear from the fuel lines etc. However leave it for any more than about 10 mins and it's as if it's out of fuel. For my money the fuels draining back. Any one got any ideas what to look at first and it the mean time I will do another search of the site see if I've over looked anything.

Sounds like and air leak. Does it pull back if you drive it under load?

did you crack open the injector unions to bleed them

Don't know m8 as it's having some other work done and it doesn't drive at the mo

no but I would have thought that once it was running any air would be forced out and that would be it??

Quite possibly, it's just I always do it even at a filter change just as amatter of course.

air leak on input side or leak off side,or still air in injectors-crack em and bleed em,and fix any air "ingress" leaks
