disco clutch problem

i have now replaced my release fork as well as the slave cylinder, i have pressure in my peddal now but still the clutch will not engage!!! could this be that i haven't blead it properly???

dont think it will be air because this woul mean that it would not disengage are you sure tis a clutch problem and not a main shaft problem 200tdis are more prone to this problem and did you check the clutch plate when you did the fork

you went to all the trouble of getting the arm out and replaced yet you didnt do the plate and release bearing as well ?

sorry i meant it wont disengage, the bearing and plates are all fine just the pivot ball through fork. besides i will be taking the engine out of the disco in september to put in my defender hopefully.

If the Fork pushes through the pivot it often will damaged the finger's of the clutch cover assembly, as the thrust bearing goes out of centre, I would have replaced the complete clutch kit if it had been mine,

I have just replaced clutch plate, pressure plate, slave cylinder and fork, still have similar problems where am getting pressure in pedal but won't engage or disengage gears with engine off isn static position. Any-one any ideas before I go to take all apart ?

the last clutch i did on my td5 had problems with drag when i striprd it down the clutch plate was distorted had it out 3 times before i found it are you sure you have all the air out the system sounds like you have if there is pressure on the peddal
