As title implies...very happy with myself

Was waiting at a set of temporary traffic lights which eventually went green so started driving off only to be met by a Corsa coming the other way. Both applied brakes and gracefully slid towards each other so I lifted and turned left and took out the nearest road cone. Was about to get grumpy on him when he told me it was his 3rd attempt to get up the bit of road (it has an incline)
I took pity on him and turn around and roped him up. Pulled him effortlessly up the hill, not even a single wheel spin and stopped at top of hill.
Very grateful chap. Bloke in truck waiting for lights suggested that the Corsa drivers problem might be that his rear wheel appeared to be locked up. When we checked it seems he'd forgotten to release the hand brake! and I'd happily dragged him regardless.

Well please with myself and the Disco, need to look for some more 'victims' to rescue

theres people whove passed the driving test, and then theres drivers...... most of the peeps out on the roads dont appear to have a clue when things get abnormal.

most people don't have a clue how to drive when it rains or becomes dark let alone when it snows, seen so many people the last few days revving the life out of their cars and then wondering why their wheels are spinning.

had one this morning junctionon an incline Fiesta spinning wheels and revving the balls out of it pulled over to tow if need as i wanted to go down this lane, and i said to him,
put in 2nd gear and bring revs up slowly and hay presto he made it, the a Mercedes sprinter came up to the junction, just kept wheel spinng so i pulled him out
Thats my good deed of the day

We had heavy snow this morning, dropping another few inches on the six we already had.
I came home to find a Ford Ka sat in the middle of road, wheels spinning, smoke pouring out of the exhaust. I thought "if you are daft enough to go out in this then I'll leave you to it" and drove around it...I've been feeling guilty ever since, this was about two and a half hours ago. May be I should go back and see if she has moved yet

I was driving around yesterday and saw a BMW X6 sitting on a hill all 4 wheels spinning, I thought "if you daft enough to buy one of those and bring it out in the snow then I'll leave you to it" and drove round him...i've not felt one bit of guilt since lol

spent a few hours this afternoon rescuing stuck drivers and taking some of em home....steep hills and serious snow ! Even the gaylanders did a grand job today :D

What they do? stay at home and kept the fook out of the way so there were less stranded cars for propper 4x4's to recover. ;)

Was sitting waiting to enter a roundabout today, woman in an mpv ****ebox comes round, I says to wifey "watch this, way too fast", she spins it 180 and sits there, luckily there were no following lorries!

After I stopped laughing, she turned it and went on her way, probably to get a clean pair of undies:)

i was out in the works van today and saw someone with a massive queue of traffic behind them, wheel spinning, sliding all over the place then i noticed the rear wheels were locked solid...... i was going to wind the window down and ask if they had the handbrake still on, but from the sound of the engine they wouldn't have heard me anyway
