devils pit sunday 10th

anyone goin there? me and my mate are goin up from oxford

I'm considering it - I'd be coming from Worcester so it's a bit of a drive (2 1/2hrs).

I've only recently bought a 1990 defender 90 200tdi and it's not modified at all - I'm keen to get started off roading before I decide what mods I want to make. Have you been to this site before? Any good?

yer thats a fair drive, no i havent been there before but looked on a couple of vids on youtube it looks good and read on a couple of forums to stay out the deep mud (apperently its very silty so blocks the rad) otherwise its a good site

I've decided I'm definitely going this weekend - we'll be heading down for arrival around 1030. It's my first 'proper' offroading session - I'm anticipating getting very stuck!

Have a good day guys... but bewarned the terrain is chalk and clay. If it is at all wet it will stick like cement. Seen a lot of guys drive in and not out again!

There will be a few numptys there too... a few that like to hammer full pelt around the parking area can be a bit of a bind.

Take lotsa photies though...

I hope not - Their website doesn't say anything and it's a long way to go to find the gate closed!

well on there website they have dates for all 2011 so it doesnt look like it

haha yer, there was a nissan gtr waiting for ages then he gave up. im suprised he even bothered waiting at all with 2 landys plastered in mud are there

that guy in the GTR didnt need to wash his car it looked like he had just waxed it, if he had used the jet wash after us it would have been far mor dirty.

i passed a place in Dunstable today Hand car wash £5 any car, maybe we should try him next time we have done devils pit

That hand wash place invited me and Kai un after we had done whaddon a week or two ago... think they would have had a hard time getting it clean though!
