cup holders HELP!

the other day i thought id clean up the cup holders and remove them, they came ot easy but i cant re fit them so that they are sprung and pop out when you push them, i think its because i cant work out which way the spring goes or if it clips in a special way, any help and tips MASSIVELY grateful !

That's a dashboard out job I'm afraid... Only joking I don't know really I just didn't want to leave you with a big fat '0' next to your reply count. Could you go to a local scrappy or look at a mates/neighbours disco to see where the spring sits when the tray is extended?

haha like ya style! mates ripped his out and i can see where spring goes, just cant work out how it stays shut under tension so when you press it it pops out!

sorted now, there is a locating lug at the bottom on dashboard which needs to be to the right and the spring goes to the left
