couple of little questions.

I am in the prosses of putting a different engine into my landy. It is the same as what came out its a 2.25 petrol lump.
The quesyions I have are:
Does anyone know where I can get the pins which holds the release bearing onto the fork? Mine never came with any so am in desperate need of two.

Fitting the clutch to the flywheel, the dowels are not wide enough and don't locate the clutch central.... is this normal and can I get ones that would do the job?

Release bearing pins, try Dunsfold or John Craddock.
Clutch, sounds like you have a mismatch there. Where are you based ? A trip to Land Rover parts supplier may be needed, take the bits in with you to get matching items. Change the spigot bush in flywheel whilst it is off >£1 so worthwhile.

Is it series 2 or 3? Clutches changed maybe that's the mismatch.

For the release bearing you need the staple which is part number 576203, lots of places sell it like LRdirect or Craddocks for pennies.

I have found LRdirect are normally a bit better for postage as they don't have a flat rate, so small items are normally a bit cheaper on postage.
