Hi all,
Over the past few weeks, there has been a small noise when the clutch is at biting point. very much like a vibrating noise. It has only been happening first thing on a morning and only happens stationary or slowly creeping on the bite point no noise when changing gear whist moving and no slipping of the gears.
Today, luckily not too far away from home, the clutch dropped to the floor and didn't come back up. i was still able to keep it in gear and return home however had to stall to stop as the clutch was no use. The pedal moves up and down manually but only seems to be acting on the spring in the pedal arm.
I have read other post with similar issues and many pointed to the master and slave cylinders. I gather the slave is in the bell chamber, but i am struggling to find the master just to visually check it's condition. Could anyone point me in the right direct.
Thanks in advance.
