clutch pedal hard to get in gear sometimes?

hi there i bought a freelander 1.8s 2004 it has done 76000 miles this is the first landrover i have ever bought and it is great,my only problem is that sometimes it is hard to get in gear but not always has anybody got a clue i have sprayred it with lubricating oil about a hour ago any feedback would be appreciated thanks guys

I had the same issue, replaced the clutch slave and master cylinder after it failed, not had a problem since!

I paid around £800 each time and I had them both done (master and slave) at separate times.

parts on eBay £42.00 plus delivery how long would it take a competent mechanic to do ?

It's about 5 hours work maybe if the person is good 4 hours.

I had slave and dual mass flywheel done - I supplied parts £200 labour
