Disco 2 Central locking

I would appreciate any help with this one.
The central locking is working on all the doors except the drivers door. It was working the other day until someone opened the door with the key. Has is accidentally been turned off and is there a way of putting it back on again.

Sounds like your going to need a reader to have a look at the BCU settings.

Also have a look on here to see if anyone else has similar problems with locking/unlocking?

I had a look seem to be alot of different central locking issues. Will keep looking.

First of all explain that if it was working why was it opened with the key? ... can you hear any activity in the latch when you lock/unlock with the fob?

No such thing for the driver's door

Thanks for response.
So I let my sister have a drive of it and she didn't listen to me so she used the key to unlock it instead of the fob.
I'm not sure if it was making a sound trying to unlock. I shall have a listen and see if it does.

If you hear activity in the latch the problem is in it, something happened there in the mechanism while it was unlocked with the key, if no sound it can be electrical and maybe your sister opened it with the key cos it failed to open with the fob

No she used the key first

If it was locked by the fob then opened with the key doesn't the alarm go off ?

Eh that's a good point actually it didn't.
