CB radio

Hi Folks,

Am thinking of fitting a CB to my 1992 Defender 90 200 Tdi. Anyone out there done this? Not sure where to fit the set. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I've fitted one to my defender - i'll nip out and get some photos for you....

OK - I've stuck a couple of piccys in the gallery:

This shows the cb placed in front of the gearstick on the panel with the warning message on it.

This one shows where the external speaker is placed, but you don't really need one - mine came free with the cb so I fitted it anyway.

This one shows the aerial mount on the back of the landy. I have a 4 foot springer aerial so it is ok off road.

I got my aerial and mount from www.4x4cb.com, give them a bell and they will discuss alternative aerial placements and recommend the correct mount and cable for you. They know there stuff!
