CB radio install

Hi Guys
Where are people wiring their CB,s into their TD5s. I’m looking into connecting mine into the radio power feed. Anyone else found a better location?

I've just fitted one ito my D90.
I used the12V feed (purple wire) to the interior vanity light as it's on all the time and I have a roof console.
You can use the AUX feed which you can pickup from a multitide of places but this needs the key turned.

Where (in the cab) are you fitting it ?

In the middle of the dash above the radio

Take the feed from the radio then ??
Or from the fag lighter or the rear washer switch or the clock ....

I found the purple wire you mentioned on the vanity light seems to be loosing power when I probe it think il try the radio as someone has tapped into it before thanks
