Afternoon all
Well Delilah ( thats my landie) decided to give me a wonderful birthday pressie today by not starting and remotes not working .
Yes its the usual culprit YWY000080
but do you think i can find one
Does anyone have a secret supply stashed somewhere
Can you fit the ywy000080A ?
I know this supersedes the YWY100440 but none of those are available either.
Will ask land rover tomorrow for my EQA code so that I can get this running
Also can I programme out the alarm with my nanocom once this is running so that i can use the car
hope someone out there can help

thanks
Mick

Well, at the risk of starting an argument, I would say “yes”, just a little odd.

5, F, F, F, where F=15 in hexadecimal, so it is a 4 digit code, 5, 15, 15, 15.

I hope it works!
This is JLR increasing the sales of doorlock switchpacks. :D
But if you have a Nanocom you can put it in with that I should think.
On my P38 (not a Disco) I am able to edit the EKA code myself so I have it set to nice low numbers. :)

well it looks like i will have to bite the bullet and spend £125 on a new one .
If it is that and i plug it in will the keys work immediately ?
the EKA codes they gave me do not work and as i understand it the only other way is a new bcu unit

you need to be psychic, or Poppops, to have got this!!!
would it have feckin killed them to have typed "5, 15, 15, 15"?
JeeeeeZ!
also 15 sounds bloody long for an EKA code part.
EDIT.
Cannot beleeeeve what I have just found on reading to the end of the thread and yes....
