Belt Tensioner

Wotcha guys,
I'm after abit of help and direction if I may. I need to replace the Tensioner pulley for the serpentine belt on a 300tdi. Do I need to remove the fan to get access to it? Help!

No! It's reight in front of you when you open the bonnet. If it's the bearing that has gone you can get just that off evil bay for £7 otherwise you have to change the whole lump for £50!
