Anyone used this airbox...

The reason i asl is that my copy safari snorkel's pipework is awful (which i knew after reading some reveiws) so wont connect to my plastic airbox, also, i dont like the idea of just tiger sealing it all up. So, i've been after an cylinder type airbox to use instead (far easier to pipe up)

so, i ask you, when this type air box is fastened up, is it 100% water tight? or will I still need to bust out the tiger seal?

Don't know about that one,but all I did with the standard 300tdi air box was seal up the inlet and outlet and filled the holes in the bottom. I haven't sealed where the box opens and its as water tight as needed and I've dunked it completely a few times and not found any water in the bottom of the box so far.

Looks very like a td airbox. I probably would have gone for that if had seen it when I fed my conversion on my defender.

MP5, ive done the same so far but don't like it.

Check the intakes and out goings on it with buyer first. Mine is a standard 200tdi one. Had to get a silicon reducer to fit it
