Get a new wife or girl friend..LOL (sorry)

Could be sand between pad and caliper. What did you do when you cleaned the brakes?

May also be a wheel bearing. Jack that wheel up and spin it by hand. Also hold it at 12 and 6 o'clock position and feel for any movement. May just need re-greasing and adjusting.

I've got a similar squeak - I thought it was the wheel bearing or brakes - turned out to be the font prop uj about to fall apart - so get underneath and give it a good going over - you DONT want one of these buggers falling apart when you're moving

If the squeak is there at a slow rolling pace then I would bet on the prop as well, but for the record if it turns out to be a UJ then greasing it will not make a lot of difference and in fact may cause it to start vibrating. The replacements are just a few quid IIRC

regards

Dave

Squeaks at the front I've had have been as above, pad/caliper ****e, UJ's nackered, loose wheel nuts, and a bent disc mud/splashguard.
