Am i allowed One Dumb question about tyre sizes?

update.... fitted a set of origin wheels 5" with 650's on. they came as a spare set. tyres are a bit perished and rims a bit suspect... Took it for a spin up the lanes and the gearing already feels better, with the tread pattern it sounds like a landcover!!!

thinking more that i will go 235/85 on defender rims - was thinking wolf but i really want the standard look and i can't afford deep dish...

Assuming it is a swb, standard would be 6.00x16, not terribly similar to a 235 85 16? :confused:

Like some of the earlier posters, I would have thought 90 or early def rims, with 205 16 or 205 85 16 for economy, would be closer.
