Hi all.

With the Disco now out of MOT and a sri Vectra to get me around, its time i got on with a few upgrades to go with the MOT prep work.
Now i've already got a set of Monroe Adventure shocks and springs and i've also been offered some 255 off road tires.

However I know i will have to cut the arches to fit them on and get some arch extensions to make sure it'll pass the MOT.

But everywhere i've looked these arch extensions are over £150, sorry but i can't justify paying that sort of money for 4 bits of plastic.

So my question is anyone found any cheap alternatives to use on their Discovery?

Cheers Chris.

That first one looks like a Disco 2 standard arches, does anyone know how far they stick out? Might have to go have a look and see if theres one still in my local scrappy.

i have posted this before and it was laughed at but i used door draft excluder brushes once glued on with tough stuff glue sideways on ie the plastic bristle grip stuck around the arch bristles sticking out to form an eyebrow its effective (look at the spray suppressors on an artic )and if you stick em on right they take a good bash to knock them off at about a fiver an arch its not a bad fix
