Hi all, have a few questions about things I have noticed on my 2000 TD5 that I hoped you could help with :)

1) My drivers side wing mirror has stopped moving horizontally with the electrics. Still moves vertically but now it gets moved when travelling until it is pointing at the side of the car instead of behind. Is this something I can take it apart and fix (just come off runner etc) or will I need to replace it?

2) Noticed the other day travelling back from Wales that my centre console or whatever the big box in between the seats is called was getting hot. Is this normal on long runs as I haven't noticed it before. If not, any suggestions as to what's causing it?

3) Anyone know anywhere to get ignition barrels with keys from (I don't need the alarm fob, just the blade)? Mine is starting to get difficult to get the key in sometimes and I have tried eBay and a Google search but can't find anywhere doing them.

Thanks in advance

Nr.2 is the most important..... check oil level in gearbox and transfer box first.....even better, replace oils with recommended types and amounts

I forgot to tell yu that before that replace the output seals .....it's not a big or expensive job and avoids the wasting of new oil.

there are 2 hot air blower pipes that run under the cubby box so it could be these making it hot??

Dont know about the ignition barrel But mine is getting difficult to get the key in as well, not all the time, so will be interested to know how you get on.
