Hi, Holiday Chicken,
Read through last night, so I will be trying few things out today and and let yo all know what happening.
Cheers

Before trying to reset anything i would get it on some diagnostics, i don't think the transmission takes well to having its adaptions reset without the proper procedure or after a rebuild, just something i think i recall @Bemble mentioning once but may be wrong

Ok, no problem. I have a diagnostic reader that's checks the whole system. So far no faults and all systems check out 100%. The only fault I get is about the high pressure on the fuel rail which I'm used to because of the change over from petrol to gas.

Hi,
I've just been reading the maintenance manual and I may have stumbled across the reason. Apparently this gearbox is a Mechatronic which adapts to your driving style. It holds the revs up in "change of mind" scenario in case you need to continue a manouver. Unless I'm a bit thick or totally read it wrong. What do you think.

The BMWs used a system called AGS - Adaptive Gearbox System - which adjusts and 'learns' your driving style....as you mention, it is anticipating that you have given it beans, and as such will delay an upshift....

Ok HC, I probably deserved that but I have to say I in my defence I only got the maintenance manual today! Bt thanks to you all.
Cheers

Hi Phil,
Thanks for contacting me. I having tried it in sport but I can remedy that tomorrow. I thought I had found the problem unless there is something else you can think of. Any info would be greatly received and appreciated. Happened a couple of times again today but I'm not sure if it was when changing over from petrol to gas, could this have an influence ?
Cheers
