What miles on the vehicle? Has it had a box fluid change?
LR say 150k miles for the box, PTU, Haldex and rear diff, but in reality, if any of these components haven't had a fluid change at 75k (35k for the Haldex), then the life of these components is massively reduced.

125k on clock and it had a full gearbox flush done before Christmas to see if it would help but it didn't

If that was the first gearbox fluid change, then it's very likely the damage has already been done.
Have any gearbox codes been read?
