Freelander 1 3 door rear speaker

I'm looking to fit new speakers in my commercial but I'm not in the mood to take half the interior apart to find where the speakers are as I need the cables
The new speakers will be fitted on top of the panels and then the panel will be reinforced with bolts, collets and padding to stop vibations.
I just need to know the rough location so I can make a hole in the right place
Not sure how big the original speakers are but the new set are 9x3 inches oval
I'd hate to be hasty and frak it up

sort of wondered where those rear speakers are in mine ( commercial )
don't matter anymore as radio/cd won't accept its code ..
'n i've pulled all the fuses .. as i use a 12v portable radio/i-pod player instead ..

anyhow .. to find location of rear speakers ..
all i could suggest .. be using the audio panning left-right / front-rear to isolate one of the rear speakers
cut all the bass out of the audio .. then crawl in the back and listen for it ..

last time i tried that .. the rears weren't too far back from the front seats ..
sort of half way between middle of rear-wheel arch and front seats ..

i suppose .. alternatively .. cut the treble .. turn up the bass
and use a hand to feel for the epicentre of the vibes ..

've decided to mount the sperakers closer to the rear door
I may just reroute the whole cable straight from the front and leave the panels well alone
