Hi all,

I was just about to register to ask about a missing drain plug in my gearbox but google found the same issue on here, the one that isn't actually a drain plug and is supposed to be open!

I have just bought a 1995 Discovery 300TDi which was sold as spares/repairs due to 'knackered gearbox' but apart from being a little difficult to get into 2nd it seems fine, hopefully an oil change will improve things and it may need a new clutch but I think I got a bit of a bargain!

The forum certainly gave me lots of useful information in my research.

Matt

PS: It's quite a bit different from my 2.2l Vectra SRI in terms of driving position and handling
