hi there ...just joined as i need some feeback on my rangy...had the AA out said it all boils down to no fuel getting past the injector pump...he thinks the pump as gone...my question is is it expensive to get it fixed or would it be anything else...hes checked all fuse and shut off switch all good

what does that mean ?,,what would of caused it..?car was fine all week ..parked up at work as usual,,,got in the car to go home..and just wouldnt turn over...

Do a search ( not a google search) on the site. Basically the BECM which controls all the vehicle functions has to send a code to the engine ECU before the engine will start. The code gets corrupted so the engine will not start. It's a common problem:eek:
Change your profile to show your location and there maybe someone nearby who has a Syncmate who can help.:)
Have a look at www.blackboxsolutions.com web site for the Syncmate.

got it booked in at land ranger services..stockport branch tomorrow,,the AA dropping it off for me...was just wondering..if it was me worth buying a pump from a breakers yard...but at least now ill wait till i know the pump is totally gone ..or just the becam needs resetting...,cgeers

Stealers love to blame the fuel injection pump or the BECM as they are nice expensive bits. You could do worse than tell the dealer you think it is loss of sync, that might save you from being turned over:eek:
