Hi guys hope someone can help me.

My central locking is playing up. key fob had the battery replaced since then it wont work correctly. The fob is a 2 button type. I have to open the car with the key then the alarm goes off. This will reset after an age of pushing the fob buttons. Its getting to be a right royal pain in the ass! I have searched the threads on here and there seems to be a number of different resets available. So my question is do i push the fob locking button 3 times or 4? Do i put the key in the lock and lock it 4 times? Do i hold the lock button on the fob and try to lock and open? Please help thanks. Chris.

"do i push the fob locking button 3 times or 4?" Look in your owners hand book, it states 4 times the first three nothing happens and on the fourth the doors lock.

Also fobs have been known to loose their tuning and therefore require a repair which companies like Remotekey can do for you.
