1966 SWB series 2

I hope I'm in the right place here. I was chatting to a colleague of mine who let slip that she owns a 1966 Series 2 SWB hardtop, or so she described it. She doesn't drive it and may want to sell it. It's taxed and tested and surplus to requirements. I said I would try and get a feel for it's value, hence the thread. The reg is MPH838D. maybe some of you recognise this plate or may point me in the direction of finding out the history of the vehicle and it's possible value.

the number plate can be sold seperately, the price range of the actual car can vary a fair amount but the actual price of the old girl all depends on how original it is and what the conditions like
best place to find the value of the number plate would be a specific website maybe?

i did a quick valuation of the number plate and it estimated around £400

Thanks. I guessed that the the plate might have some value, possibly more than the vehicle depending on originality, condition etc. I'll need to find out more but her knowledge is a bit sketchy. A few useful picures might help.
