Doc, I have'nt got any exams just a final assessment on my practical ablity as a Boilersmith. god help me.

Nitemare, as the exhaust pipe is good all the way along apart from the tail pipe I think use it for now, its would take too long fabricate one myself, but we,ll see,

I like the idea of not altering the chassis but if its the easiest way then so be it.

haha sounds better than mine then!

I have mechanical analysis (essentially complex maths)

Mechanical systems (hardcore physics)

Electronics (more hardcore maths mixed with physics )

and then a solid works assignment, practical assignment and race car anatomy assignment :(

the standard 2.25 exhaust will be too restrictive on a 200tdi, i built my exhaust in about 2-3 hours after sifting through the pile of pipes i'd collected

Look what I've got for £20......... :D

And all that bloody time I've spent cleaning and painting the SWB ones

oil leaks on the oil pipes to the cooler and around the filter (you do have oil in it ??)

diesel leaks

water leaks

check your alternator for security

make sure you've left no little bits laying on the engine

that's about it

if you have a diesel leak from the bleed off pipes there's every chance it's caused by a restriction in the return pipe to the tank, they're only push on pipes (or they were on mine) and they flow quite a lot of diesel back to the tank, not at high pressure but just enough to make you lose that liquid gold should the return pipe get blocked

Hey up

More big bits off today such as the old lump and the front shockers.

if you would call them mountings ....:crazy:

I've also got all the track rods apart from the main one between the wheels to keep them upright.

going to cutting off the old mounts and grinding everything back flush.
