Im very happy to say the bulkhead is finished and in primer, finally woohoo I think i deserve a large glass of port

I would upload photos but no joy, still coming up with that missing security token thingy

Hey up,

Ive got my bumper staighten out, clamped it to the bench at work and used two lengths of angle clamped, one down ether side with screw clamps and left though dinner break, and hey presto one staight bumper. brought it back here to the parents, removed crappy flakey silver gloss, rubbed down with fine wire wool, and three coat of zinc galvy spray and one nice neat bumper, two days work in total, happy chappy,

Ive finished the welding on the front panel, and brushed some red ted on but came back to it 3/4 of a hour and the paint had seperated from the first coat of red ted which was sprayed on I'll have a look tomorrow.

also Ive finished my floor panels (apart from drilling fixing holes I'll do this when the bulkhead and seatbox are fitted) just need wire wheel on them to clean them up. These are made from 5mm ali checker plate a neighbour give me a part sheet that was left behind by the last residents who had a 88" series 3, love freebies.

HELP is there there something I'm missing?

If I go on to the "Manage Attachments" page and click on a file to upload from computer it says "uploading, please wait" then this "DSC00204.JPG:
Upload of file failed." and gives no other reason ? what is going on ?

any help will be much much appreciated

Dunno mate....seems to be working for me though I usually upload to photobucket and copy from there direct into reply box here

Thanks for the replys guy, tomorrow Im extending the tent so it covers the whole landy, also start the prep for removing the gearbox. any hint or tips

If you don't have an hoist, put a couple of planks on the roof and use a couple of Ratchet Straps to support the box.

Seriously....thought you had it all stripped off

I tied a towing strap over my roof and used 1'' ratchet straps looped through it to lift it out.

Lowered back in using the same method but with 3/4'' rope through the strap and doubled back through a loop....the friction was plenty to have easy control lowering into place and tied off with a jack under for fine adjustment.

Nearly fooked me back lifting it into the cab in the 1st place mind :crutch:

It is stripped apart from the tub?, Its outside with a hoist/gantry that my grandad made over it, I'll take a pic tomorrow far easier,

Hey up, Folks,

right Ive got the gearbox out to expose the brand NEW Clutch thats been fitted and never been used. Shes resting on the chassis for tonight hopefully to moving indoors tomorrow depending on the weather (snowy n ****ty forecast) but any way Ive got handbrake lever and linkage off also the steering box and mounting plate are off as well.
